The location is very nice and there is a view of the sea. I am glad we stayed a Sunday night as the room was very close to the restaurant but the restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings so it was quiet.

Limited things to do in Paternoster, but we enjoyed the late midday walks on the beach. We attended a show in the theatre there and enjoyed it a lot. Very nice restaurants to eat at. Surrounding places to do more not far away so we enjoyed our stay.

It was drizzling when we arrived.
It was drizzling when we arrived. We made the most of it walking around until the rain stopped. Popped in at the friendly OK Supermarket and bought some goodies. The walk back seemed shorter admiring the different shops along the way. We also visited the friendly Fruit and Veg Stall opposite the Hotel and they had quality affordable fruit and veg. Chatted to the locals selling their crayfish and black muscles. We also had a good walk along the beach the next morning after experiencing an awesome breakfast at the Hotel with a very hot cuppachino. Overall, a great experience, experienced. We will definitely go again.

Not overcrowded, as we went in November.
Not overcrowded, as we went in November.
Not over commercialised. Liked the rustic environment.
Has small fisherman's village feel.
Stone Fish Studio was superb! Love the products and the plants. Terracotta pots at very good prices.
Did not like the portions at Voorstrandt Restaurant. Portions very small for the price you pay.

After a gap of 6 years it was a joy to return and find Paternoster still unspoilt. A piece of heaven on the West Coast. A place to relax and unwind and get plenty of fresh air with long walks on the beautiful beach. Some seriously good restaurants to delight the senses - eg Noisy Oyster and Gaabai. Fossil Park nearby which is so interesting re evolution and history of man and animals- the upgraded museum and facilities are brilliant.

I love history and old buildings. The hotel has both. Very spacious room and bathroom. Comfortable bed. My stay was a very short stopover to meet up with old friends living in Paternoster. I did not make use of the included breakfasts as they were served on the late side for my cramped schedule. Safe parking.
The hotel is PERFECTLY situated for walking excursions.
The spectacular beachfront location; comfortable, spacious rooms; a friendly, welcoming and accommodating host; good breakfast offer. If visiting Paternoster one really wants to be on the ocean front and the location of Deja-vu is one of the best!
