Minette was a superb host and went out of her way to to us feel welcome. She helped us with printing documents, supplied my husband with a razor and accommodated out late check in and early check out. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable and has been decorated beautifully! Will definitely stay here again! Thank you Minette!

A must see are the cheetahs at Ashia and hearing about their conservation. (No contact with the cheetahs which is great)
Fabulous scenery.

Unfortunately we went there on the coldest weekend where we had to go watch our sons rugby, but the house where we stayed was warm and beautiful. Paarl is a nice town and we will definitely go back there in the summer.

Went to the Taal Monument and was fascinated by the history of the Afrikaans language as depicted by this fantastic monument. If I have the chance I will bring my kids along. It makes me wonder why similar monuments are not put up for the other languages? Surprised it is not on the list of popular places in Paarl.

As Paarl is my home town I’m probably a little biased.
As Paarl is my home town I’m probably a little biased. The town has much to offer. The historic Main Street, so put on your walking shoes. For those travellers who enjoy wine Paarl has a lot to offer. There are plenty of wine estates to visit including the KWV winery. A visit to Paarl Rock is a must with stunning views across the valley. Paarl is home to the Afrikaans language visit the Taal Monument. For those travellers who want a relaxing break, Paarl is for you. Paarl unlike other Wineland towns like Stellenbosch and Franshoek is a lot less quieter with fewer tourists. A gem not to be missed.

Paarl has a very interesting Main Street if you enjoy architecture: there are a couple of centuries of architectural styles here. The scenery and surrounding mountains are spectacular and of course … let’s not forget all those gorgeous wine estates, tastings and food pairings.

I have been to 50+ different places in the Cape Wine Region and this hotel is by far the best ever when it comes to value for money. Extremely well maintained and looked after accommodation with many beautiful and luxury details, very very friendly staff and amazing kitchen (breakfast and dinner). Don't try anywhere else
Such a beautiful garden setting. Everything in the room was of very high quality better than most hotels and even came with a turn down service! The wine and fruit was a nice touch. Lemu was very kind and friendly!
