Wonderful Hospitality by the hosts. A place is often defined by its people. The hosts were extremely warm and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and exciting. They are passionate about their surroundings and happy to share and give a taste of life at La Loggia. Very genuine and authentic people and will highly recommend this place because of that.
There are a variety of animals on the estate like zebra, bucks, blesbok, eland and cows. You see alot of them on the estate.
There are a variety of bird species that come to the courtyard and drink from the fountain.
It is in close proximity to restaurants, pubs and other activities.
There are lovely dam spots for fishing, picnics and strolls.

Our stay at the hotel was the worst experience ever.
Our stay at the hotel was the worst experience ever. The staff were rude, and the reception was cold. The entire hotel is overrated. The hotel staff was unhelpful during our stay. We requested a room change, hoping for improvement, but it became clear that uncleanliness and poor service are the hotel's standards. The team seemed oblivious to our frustration and unconcerned about the subpar service.

Our timing was spot-on as the misty atmosphere made for an excellent road trip in and around Nottingham Road. We were amazed at how much the Midlands has developed in the last 10 years since our last visit.

Nottingham Road is on the famed Midlands Meander and good springboard for exploring the Drakensberg. There are lots of eateries and galleries and attractions in the area to keep you busy for some time.

Most beautiful scenic trip and stops along the way.
Most beautiful scenic trip and stops along the way. The only 2 negatives are the condition of the road which could do with a new lick of tar or at the least filling all the potholes and lastly cutting away the bushes from the road.

The property is situated overlooking a dam on the Mooi River. The view was beautiful. The sunsets were gorgeous and the skyline continued to change in color. The host Graham was down to earth and very helpful. Situated quite close to Rosetta and Nottingham Road, it is easy to explore the Midlands Meander using Crags Cottage as a base.
Very comfortable and great attention to detail in the room! Great Midlands accommodation close to Nottingham Road. We had a very good stay.
Beautiful location and for the Fly Fisherman, a great dam with trout in it.
A well located hotel in a gorgeously peaceful, pretty and serene setting. Lovely big rooms and bathrooms. Every single staff member was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Tasty breakfasts.
Sticks went out of her way to keep us a table in the pub for dinner each night. The staff were very friendly, thank you. The hotel is still very nice and the rates are great.
