A very smart modern and ultra secure guest house, Linda the host is exceptionally friendly and hospitable and went out of her way to give us a map and explain the areas of interest, which was extemely helpful and much appreciated.
This was our misunderstanding. We thought our room included a kitchenette, but it turned out to be a fridge and microwave. I understand that the word kitchenette has been removed from the description. Unfortunately we had just come from a self catering family holiday and had all our breakfast and light snacks. The room was fantastic as a B&B, but not for self catering as we had to sit on our beds to eat our food. Unfortunately due to this we had an accident with the soy sauce. Although, I suspect, not pleased, Linda was very good when we confessed. Sorry Linda.

Beautiful stone building, the rooms were clean and the hosts were very friendly. Went above and beyond to accommodate us.. even prepared a home cooked meal for us. Would highly recommend the Oudeklip guest house.

The host was absolutely amazing, she made sure we had everything we needed. Her staff were welcoming and friendly. The property is a GEM! looking at the history of how they have renovated an old 1900's home to a modern art piece.

Nieuwoudtville is a unique ecological area with a number of attractions, such as the Namaqualand flowers in August/September, the nearby quiver tree forests, the glacial beds etc. Our accommodation at Linda se Dop was outstanding too - very spacious and comfortable, with excellent dinners and breakfasts added in.

Friendly and helpful people, this little town thrives in the flowering season. For the rest it is a quiet little town. Traditional food of the region is also available like " roosterkoek" etc. The flowers in and around the town was unbelievable, we did not travel to other regions. Nieuwoudtville was tops.
