This accommodation can not be bettered. Beautiful house close to sandy beach and restaurants. The house was spotlessly clean with large luxurious bedroom and owner who provides a very personal hosting. Particularly liked the large balcony area with great sea views. Also available were comfortable lounges. Water was available in room fridge and water dispenser. Free secure parking. Fast WIFI.

Thank you for all the warmth, kindness, thoughtfullness. Thank you for the fresh flowers throughout the house, Easter treats for the children and an ice cold bottle of white wine for the parents. It all added to a welcoming atmosphere of "coming home." We enjoyed the stay and the wonderful views. Hilton Cove is an excellent place for two families staying together. Enough space for being together whilst enjoying privacy.

Location was good as the view from the deck and lounge was basically uninterrupted. Melkbosstrand is also a bit out of the busy Cape Town but near enough to visit the main attractions there. We love Melkbos!

Extremely accommodating, helpful and friendly hosts. Large, ultra clean and comfortable unit. Very spacious bedroom, large comfortable bed and plenty of packing space in a large walk-in cupboard. Great bathroom with a large shower and bath. On the golf estate, a very quiet and safe environment. A few minutes' drive to Melkbos village with great restaurants and beach activities. Excellent value for money.

Melkbosstrand is a lovely, unpretentious old-fashioned seaside town with a long, firm beach along the Atlantic ocean. There are supermarkets, filling stations, restaurants and coffee bars for each taste and budget. Nearby is a championship golf course and sports centre with Padel and tennis courts. The West Coast offers many attractions and is delightfully open and wild, yet easily accessible from Cape Town and the International airport.

The host is unfriendly and the facilities poor. Although the location is fantastic, short stays will be less frustrating.
There is bore hole water and when the electricity goes off, either because of load shedding or just because, and this happens all the time, there is no emergency lighting (even if the owner have solar) and no water. This venue is not customer focused.

I liked the walking paths, shops and restaurants. The people are very friendly and kind. The scenery is also a winner.
Only one downside, is the early closing time of the restaurants on the weekends. Avoid going out for a late snack, as most places will be closed. (We had to drive to Table View for Steers)

It was my third visit to Melkbosstrand, and I always love the peace and serenity of it. It will surely not be my last visit. Dinner at Damhuis was superb, and breakfast from Simple Bru Coffee Co was also fantastic. A weekend to remember for sure

we made a three week trip through the western cape and changed hotels quite frequently. although we have loved all hotels so far, this one was the first that felt like home and was hard to leave.
The staff will go the extra mile just to accommodate you. also, we had the entire house to ourselves for almost all of our five night stay. So it felt like we got more than just our luxurious bedroom to ourselves.
Comfortable bed, helpful staff good breakfast. We had access to the large pool and the well equipped fitness centre a short walk from the hotel and a bit further takes you to the bar restaurant overlooking the golf course. All for a very reasonable price.
