We stopped over here for a night on the way to Lesotho (easy access to Maseru). The house itself is quaint and very well renovated. It's a lovely old sandstone building that apparently used to be a children's home about 100 years back. The rooms we stayed in (in the main house) were well decorated and clean with all the basic things you need (kettle, fridge, bathroom etc).

I had a parcel delivered to the guesthouse in anticipation of my arrival and they were helpful in holding the parcel for me. They didn’t respond to my messages through Booking.com but I found their email and sent them a message that way and they responded quickly. The guesthouse has great amenities - a restaurant, spa, and outdoor pool (although it is not heated). I didn’t end up eating breakfast at the restaurant because guests who booked via Booking.com are not eligible for breakfast, but I did enjoy a great Sushi dinner. The grounds are really lovely and relaxing, and it feels like you are secluded even though you’re near the city centre.
