We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Kambaku.
The staff were friendly and always there if we needed something or had a question.
It was peaceful and tranquil, which let us relax.
They offer spectacular views of the Crocodile River and wildlife - even had some lions visit.
Very accommodating, food to die for and extra special was the packed breakfast for our early departure to the park.
Cannot wait to visit again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is right on the river, and we saw lots of game from the outside area also very close to Malelane Gate. The chalet is equipped with everything you need. I would highly recommend this place, and we will definitely book there again.

We loved everything! Our dinner table was set for us to have the most beautiful view and the food was absolutely delicious. They even made the effort to pack us a take-away breakfast since we hit the road early. The location is spectacular to say the least. The friendliness of the staff was heartwarming and appreciated.

The place is in a very quiet location overlooking the crocodile river which I enjoyed the most. The food was nice too, with friendly staff/guest house workers always going the extra mile just to make our stay comfortable. I wouldn't mind going back there again in future.

Easy access and quick access.
Easy access and quick access. We went off season but had pre-booked with SANParks, so a word of warning, don't pre-book unless it's high season to guarantee access. It doesn't specify this when booking, so we thought we were paying the conservation fees.
You're free to roam around in your own vehicle and don't need an off-roader. There is an abundance of wildlife so you don't even need to stay for 3 days. We went for 2 hours on our own and saw elephants, rhinos, 'pumbas' and impalas.
The toilets are few and far between so either go when you find them or you'll have to do it at the side of the road...without straying into the Bush.
We then went for a full day with a guide who knows the area better and took us to the watering holes we probably would've never found on our own, where giraffes, wildebeest, hippos and elephants were all hanging out.
A note about Malaria: we read that malaria was found around Kruger and had conflicting advice about taking anti-malaria tablets. In the end, we just covered our legs and arms (even though it was hot) and sprayed mosquito repellent with 50% deet.
In short, Kruger is a must, but don't expect to see leopards or cheetahs, as they are, quite literally, impossible to 'spot'.

Malelane is very beautiful and easy to get around.
Malelane is very beautiful and easy to get around. I loved the wild life the most, it was pleasant view to watch the birds and animals roaming around freely. The staff at the gate were very friendly and helpful. Wish I had more time to give a constructive review but went to the park for just half a day and managed to see some of the big 5 which was the purpose of my visit.

The food was incredibly good. The staff were great and on top of everything. The rooms were comfortable and location was awesome. All the extras are really worth it. From picnics, hikes and massages. The Malelane Kruger Gate is a 10min drive from the main road. For those interested on going into the Kruger. Our entire stay was incredible. I would highly recommend it for couples.
We had a one night stay.
After spending two full days of safaris in Kruger National Park, it was the right place to enjoy a good sleep and relax before moving to the next phase of our South African trip.
Owners were not at the property, but communication was excellent both before and during the stay.
Thanks for the great take away breakfast
Have a dinner - Very nice roast meat and vegetables. Easy to find safe location just outside Kruger Malelane gate . Thanks for the enjoyable stay
