The room was spacious and neat. We actually had a good night sleep as the bed was comfortable. I loved that it had tea making facilities as we are tea lovers. The host was also very welcoming .

The town is very easily layed out and full of history. Guided and unguided tours are available to visit the war that took place in the area. The richness in history and facts are felt throughout town. Not many restaurants available. Ensure that you do visit the area and plan enough time to visit at least two war sites.

Ladysmith is a great stopping off point between Johannesburg...
Ladysmith is a great stopping off point between Johannesburg and Durban and has the excellent Nambiti Game reserve and the battlefields close by.
Not sure I would want to walk the streets at night but it has all the shopping that you may want.
The Coffee Pot is an excellent café with good food and drink and great service.
Everything was great...The place was beautiful, clean and spacious. The staff was amazing. She waited for us to return from a function which was early parts of the next morning. She was super helpful, friendly and caring. I throughly enjoyed the stay and this will be the only place I book going forward should I stay in Ladysmith.
It was clean, the food was amazing. I also loved the electric blankets -Ladysmith is quite cold compared to where I’m from. Spectacular place, definitely coming back.
