Friendly staff who were especially eager to assist with unexpected loadshedding implemented during our stay. Lovely thatched rondaval type unit which was well designed, clean, comfortable, and equipped with the basics for self catering. Spacious accommodation including extra size bed and double bunk with mosquito nets. (We were in a family room). Huge bath tub, wonderful hot showers - no hot water issues. Aircon was marvellous in the heat.
Scrumptious 3 course dinner with full servings which was well worth the price. Dining staff were friendly and we were impressed with their service. Awesome to see zebra, giraffe, and several buck species wandering around the property between the units. Quiet and peaceful. Close to Hluhluwe Umfolzi Game Reserve. I was kept updated with various info from date of booking to arrival, including being advised of the schedule for the sudden loadshedding which started on the day we arrived.
Overall, what I saw on Booking.com was what we got.

I really liked the forest view from the tree lodge. The entire venue had beautiful scenery with the crocodile pond further enhancing the beauty of the place.
