You get what you pay for, the unit is rather basic but has all necessities for a comfortable stay. Main criticism was that the shower water was mostly cold and would periodically oscillate between extremely hot and freezing. Practice your Wim Hof breathing!

This is not a holiday destination and I went for personal reasons. Besides constant power outages (nationally) and major intersections not working causing chaos on the roads, security and potholes are other things to watch out for. It however is close to Jhb and Sandton, and has some nice pubs (Sundowner Pub is brilliant) and Restaurants as well as shopping (Clearwater is a nice centre) around. Day trips to Magaliesburg etc is also very entertaining.
