The check in lady was amazing - I have to say that considering the fact that the hotel is soooo run down - she is doing a pretty good job to make the guests feel at home, she was super helpful - I just can't remember her name right now. The breakfast was good and well presented.

Laragh-on-Hogsback is located in Hogsback. The accommodation will provide you with a TV and a patio. There is a full kitchen with a microwave and an oven.
I must say, it was nothing short of breathtaking. The hidden gem is a nature lover's paradise, and i was thoroughly captivated by its serene beauty. I was struck by the vibrant flowers that to bloom everywhere, Garden of love is always my favorite place, waterfalls always steal my heart. Hogsback always leaves an indelible mark on my heart. Your beauty, your tranquility, and your magic will stay with me forever. I will be back soon, eager to drink in more of your splendor.

The road is just terrible - and it puts you off having to...
The road is just terrible - and it puts you off having to leave your accommodation as you know you have to venture onto that road through town.
The Pub owners need a little education on how to create a cosy atmosphere as there was none. But restaurants are great.

We travel extensively throughout South Africa, regularly staying in self-catering establishments. This was a stand-out stay, with probably the most amenities. The fact that even fire wood, kindling and pine cones were provided was just one of the aspects that made our stay one of the most comfortable and memorable. Thank you, Elizabeth and thank you Sandile. Best wishes, we wish you every success. We would return to your "home" at the drop of the hat, if only we lived closer to Hogsback.

Plan better next time, and stay a few days to absorb and experience the true splendor of Hogsback. (Note to myself)
It does not matter the season, nor the weather (it was a chill, rainy day when we stayed here), Away with the Faeries is pure soul food. Take time for the road less traveled over and down the other side of the mountain. You will find the angels blessing you with even more beauty.
Property was very clean and spacious. Had everything we needed for a great weekend away. The kitchen is well equipped. The house is large but surprisingly cosy. I have stayed in Hogsback multiple times but this was by far my favourite accommodation.
Located in the heart of Hogsback - lots of space to breathe and stand on real soil - not concrete.
Bedding was warm and soft and comfortable.
Isolated from other guest - super quiet for relaxing.
