An absolutely stunning home, spacious and beautifully designed. The location, right on the Crocodile River, was incredible. Corné went out of her way to accommodate our needs - we held a small wedding celebration while there and it couldn't have been more perfect. The staff was also very helpful and unobtrusive. We appreciated having a generator - made the loadshedding quite tolerable. We enjoyed several game drives with Jesse - she was excellent but the cats still eluded us.

What a beautiful and well maintained home. The home has a modern African feel that fits in perfectly with the surroundings. The amenities were great ! The host was very pleasant and timely in answering all my questions. our host booked a safari for us and the guide was great ! On our last day a large herd of mongoose ran through the back yard ! What a treat ! I give this amazing place 5 stars, all the way !

The staff and management were extremely friendly and helpful. I really appreciated that. The chalet and bed were comfortable and I was able to sleep very well.

Mjejane River Lodge is located outside the Greater Kruger National Park and offers 8.7 mi of Crocodile River frontage. The lodge has an outdoor pool overlooking the river.

The food was great, especially the ribs. It was very pleasant seeing the animals around the lodge. It was fantastic swimming at night. I highly recommend going there if you want to be surrounded by nature

Excellent value for money. The hosts we're so friendly and welcoming. We loved the fact that we ate dinner at one table with all the other guests and got to meet people from all over the world. Also loved the fact that the wildlife and bush babies would come right up to the deck.

I think if you are a couple don't choose single beds maybe double bed is better. The place is full of mosquitoes be prepared and buy something that can protect you that's what we did.the lodge is located in the township not good for other people .no microwave no kettle to make tea

The pools are a winner in summer.
The pools are a winner in summer. Staff is very friendly and the food is awesome. The beds are cosy and even though it is a bath shower it is spacious. Beautiful, tranquil family place. Oh and the bar is beautiful!

I booked four nights off the back of Booking.com description...
I booked four nights off the back of Booking.com description of the property. It was so bad that my wife and I left after one night and had to find another hotel as it would have ruined our holiday to stay there.
I am asking politely but heard nothing from Booking.com yet for a refund. The manager had not even been told by Booking.com that we were coming so imagine being given one room then 20 minutes later having to move from the room as it was not fit for purpose and then when we are given another room moving all our baggage that room is not properly kitted with furniture and after 8 hours driving to get there i am now helping the manager move table and chairs into an apartment across the yard. terrible, they should not be in the hospitality business the place is not finished it is terrible. Booking .com you need to refund me my One Hundred & Sixty pounds. as soon as possible.

It is small, quaint and located between the two main entrance gates to the Kruger Park. I wouldn't say that Hectorspruit is exactly a tourist destination but there is no reason to not consider staying there if you are unable to stay in Kruger Park.
