It was clean and neat and bright and shiny. Loved the pool deck area and we were a group of friends so was lovely to spend time together out there. Was comforting to know that the cars were safely parked behind good security.

Loved the area and the Elgin market.

Loved the area and the Elgin market. Alot of good wine farm however most are closeon a Monday. We went to a few that was closed but we're still allowed to enter and take pics. All the staff at the various winefarms could suggest to us where to get the full experience on the Monday. The hostess at Paul Cluver wine tasting was so well informed and professional. People love what the do. Very good experience all round

Extremely scenic and beautiful part of Cape with lots to visit and do so nearby appealing to all. So restful. Great eating places easy to get to, Such friendly people etc. The beautiful and working part of South Africa better than an overseas holiday from horrible province of Gauteng where I live.

There is more to do around Grabouw and Elgin than meets the eye when driving past on the N2 Freeway. Scenic drives through apple and pear orchards and vineyards, wine tasting in picturesque surroundings, a variety of restaurants and farmstalls - a drive to The Elgin River Lodge for lunch is worth the idyllic river view. There are adventure, hiking and cycling activities in which we are yet to take part. Lovely surroundings in which to unwind not far from Cape Town.
