The location is central in a quiet part of Springbok, the rooms - although the building is old - are beautiful. It was super clean, with small 'kitchen' facility, fridge, and the best bedding and blanket ever. It was the most warm, comfortable sleep. Lots of areas to sit outside, loved the peacock who was so friendly :-) A great place with secure parking.

We loved the spaciousness of the unit, with its comfortable king-size bed, sufficient cupboard space and shelves, well-equipped kitchenette and the seating area. The bathroom was clean and (unlike many guest houses) had enough place for our toiletries and to hang towels. As we were doing a 14-day road trip we had lots of luggage and were grateful to have plenty of room to unpack and store everything. The built-in braai on the wide veranda even had a light which made cooking our meat at night easier. I enjoyed sitting outside on the cool veranda and watching the activity of the birds in the aviary, and appreciated the neat gardens. Reception staff were efficient and welcoming. The guest house is conveniently situated for visiting the spectacular Goegap Nature Reserve. We would definitely stay at Kleinplasie again.
Breakfasts and dinners were excellent. As a birder, great to watch the Weavers building nests next to the windows at breakfast and there were a couple of pleasant trails from the hotel.
The room was very good, spacious and comfortable.
We were happy to be a 25Km drive from Springbok towards Kleinzee in a 'remote' position though some might prefer to be closer to the town.
A comfortable well run hotel close to the border with Namibia. Room was excellent with a very large window framing a beautiful view. Food, especially dinner is to be highly recommended. In spite of the heat we enjoyed walking a few of the trails in the large hotel grounds.
Beautiful hotel set in a stunning grounds. The walks on the estate were wonderful and clearly indicated. The view from the viewpoint (walk or drive to it) should not be missed.

It was a convenient overnight location en route to the West Coast. The hotel is beautiful and the gardens have indigenous flora with birds nesting everywhere.
