Incredible views and amazing design. The cottage was very well thought out with a living room, separate bedroom, and connecting outdoor space. Facilities were very thoughtful — outlets everywhere, functional bathroom, etc. Food was very good.

I loved the laid-back feeling, just appropriate for switching off and being away from it all. The place is just some 30 minutes away from Hermanus. One is able to enjoy both towns on a visit to that part of the world.

Stunning, modern and luxurious.... Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home had everything we could possibly need. Exquisitely decorated and everything, right down to the cutlery and glassware, is high quality. Bed was extremely comfortable. Lovely handwritten welcome note and complimentary bottle of wine on our arrival.

Small, laid-back town with many activities in and around and some good restaurants. I also enjoyed visiting nearby towns like Hermanus & Stanford. Highlights were Shark Cage Diving, Klein River Cheese Farm and the Elgin Valley Wine Farms. Some nice hiking options in the area as well & De Kelders is great for whale watching and walks along the ocean.

Gansbaai still feels like a real fishing town although there is a big centre with Spar as the main tenant.
There is a lot to do if you are someone that needs to stay active: walking trails, horse riding, wine tasting, and bicycle routes. You can go shark diving or watch the seals at Dyer Island.
You can walk all the way from Kleinbaai to Franskraal or just relax on the beach.
You can play in the lagoon or swim in the sea. Never a dull moment.

Helen is definitely the best host ever.
She made us feel at home, with her kindness and her attention for every details.
The room was nice and tidy, the bathroom perfectly clean and Helen cuddled us with a serie of lovely attentions.
We had all the lower level for us and we felt as we were at home.
The house is amazing, very clean and it is in one of the best neighbourhood in Gansbaai; the view of the ocean is superbe and if you're lucky enough you can see whales too from the window.
The breakfast was lovely and we really enjoy it.
