We received a warm welcome and our hostess took time to show us everything. The place was very clean and well-equipped. I even noticed everything was provided in case of load shedding (which did not actually happen while we were there). Extra blankets and heaters were provided and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was easy to find the house from the motorway, especially as our hostess sent us a location pin with whatsapp. We also felt very safe there.

We stayed on a farm outside the area. We visited Winterton and the surrounding R600 road, where there were lots of restaurants and little shops to visit. It was easy to get around. The roads were in good condition. There is nothing we would avoid on our next trip.
