The hospitality is unrivalled (proper South African 🇿🇦 hospitality through and through) and the scenery/setting is stunning. There are ample hiking trails around and lots of activities to keep the whole family entertained regardless of the weather. Each and every staff member at the lodge takes exceptional pride in what they do. The lodge therefore feels like home. You can feel the warmth between the staff and guests; and between the staff themselves. The food is exceptional - fresh, tasty and delicious! They accommodate every palate and dietary requirement. The lodge is absolutely clean, neat and tidy. The attention to detail is insane. I wish I could state each staff member’s name, but the list is long and they are ALL exceptional human beings ❤️ (They remember every guest by name!) Friendly staff, always ready to assist. Host also pleasurable to chat to. Area is remote and peaceful and clean, property is fenced off and perfect for my small dogs and we felt safe. The fishing facility was nice and clean with seating and canoeing equipment, which was a pleasent surprise. Will definitely go back!

Lolambazo is a GEM. Spacious rooms and living areas. Absolutely beautiful scenery. Billy went to extra mile to ensure that we had a lovely stay. The kids loved tubing on the river and there was plenty of wood for braaing, etc. We had everything we needed and more!
