It was served in a lovely, light-filled dining room with a stunning view of the surrounding mountains. The selection was diverse, featuring freshly baked pastries, cheeses, cold cuts, fruits, and bread. There was also a delicious hot breakfast, including eggs, bacon, and more. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring everything was replenished promptly. Room: The room I stayed in was cozy and well-appointed. It had a rustic charm with modern touches that made it feel both inviting and comfortable. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept soundly each night. The room was spacious and included all the amenities I needed, from a well-stocked minibar to a lovely bathroom with a shower. The decor was tasteful, and there was a warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout the hotel. View: The view from the hotel was absolutely breathtaking. The peaceful surroundings and proximity to nature made for a relaxing stay, and I enjoyed taking in the scenery throughout my time at the hotel. I travelled to Clarens on my way to the Rugby in Johannesburg , but never made it to the rugby because all the roads where closed due to snow. Some people had to stay overnight stuck in their cars. Due to these road closures all accomodation in Clarens was full. for the Saturday night. The staff at Highland quarters assisted me to find alternative accomodation in a nearby town and made sure I was safe. I just like to thank the staff there for going beyond what was required of them.
