The atmosphere was great and the peolpe very friendly. Taking a break from the city buzz at Slakkepas was very relaxing. I would recommend it to anybody that needs a quiet break away from the fast pace.

The friendly staff is certainly a plus, and I especially appreciated the warm-heartedness and professional conduct of Jade at reception, when she booked me in. Being my first time there, she showed me where the restaurant facillities were, and I could even have a look at the menu and decide long in advance, what I will be having for dinner.

The accommodation and facilities were of a very high standard . The location and placement of the chalet was excellent. The views were outstanding. All the staff were very helpful and welcoming with excellent communications throughout our stay .
We loved the safari drive and were lucky enough to see the Buffalo. Heinrich and Thomas were excellent guides and very knowledgeable.

A pretty seaside community that lends itself to a relaxing remote getaway to enjoy the tranquility of nature. Spring provides an awesome display of wild flowers on the ride up from Cape Town and in and around Dwarskersbos. The area is a gem for bird lovers with both the Berg River estuary at Velddrif and the Rocherpan Nature Reserve a short drive up and down the coast.
