I loved the location, the room itself and the surroundings, especially the opportunity to see springboks up close. my only negative was that my matrass was too hard, but in all fairness, I have recently had a neck operation, thus any hard bed is uncomfortable for me.

It's a good place to overnight and has many accommodation spots. The Colesberg community benefit mostly from the position of the town Geographically. It is a little run-down. The Engen and Wimpy are good. I really would not want to stay there longer than one night.

The environment took away the holiday mood. Starting at the gate, manually oprated. Parking space was very terrible. The room had only one shower without a bathing option. Toilet located at an awkward place, you cross a bedroom to reach it. Wooden floor was very noisy when walking. Reception was also not professional. At that price I would not recommend it to anyone.

They were very helpful people; our car broke down on our way and blew a top gadget. Everyone was very helpful in getting our vehicle towed in and gave us a ride to the Engen garage to get a bus back home.

Lovely town.
Lovely town. Clean streets HOWEVER the surrounding veld was full of rubble and lots of plastic. Information on the history of the town would also be nice to have on hand. Church bell works! Lekker local restaurants.
With genuine KAROO lamb on the menu for those who like meat. Great choice of veggies.
