Friendly Owners and place was nice clean, tidy and very comfortable. We were driving from Cape Town and stopped over for the night on route to Jhb. Bedding was clean and fresh. Would definitely recommend 👌

    We will definitely be returning!

We will definitely be returning! Jarome and the staff were exceptionally professional, going above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The breakfast seating location was perfect, offering a wonderful atmosphere, and the food—featuring delicious locally made bread—was outstanding. We absolutely loved it! Truly a fantastic ranch and excellent value for money.

Colesberg is a good place to sleep over on your way to the Eastern or Western Cape from the North of the country or back. There are many properties in Colesberg and therefore it is important get value for your money. I read the reviews before I make a choice. Colesberg is an old town that has some old buildings to explore. There are shops, fast food outlets, and a farmstall. Some properties also have a swimming pool to enjoy during the warm summer months. There are restaurants and it is easy to get around Colesberg.

This is an old town when the area must have been eventful with daily actions. Wide open streets, old building and a wonderful church. Restaurants should gather more history about Colesberg and what went on there 50/100/150 years ago. How was living in those days?

I loved the location, the room itself and the surroundings, especially the opportunity to see springboks up close. my only negative was that my matrass was too hard, but in all fairness, I have recently had a neck operation, thus any hard bed is uncomfortable for me.

It's a good place to overnight and has many accommodation spots. The Colesberg community benefit mostly from the position of the town Geographically. It is a little run-down. The Engen and Wimpy are good. I really would not want to stay there longer than one night.
