It has a fantastic location just outside of Montague. The hosts are so friendly and hospitable. The scenery is amazing, the hot tub for winter and pool for summer is an added bonus. The Blue Crane house in which we stayed had everything we needed including Netflix for a rainy day! The touch farm experience is also wonderful, for kids and adults alike. The lovely new little restaurant is a wonderful new addition by the swimming pool, also with a fireplace.
Located on the beautiful slopes of the Langeberg Mountains, just two hours away from Cape Town, this charming estate is the ideal destination for a relaxing get-away.

Beautiful location, perfect for a relaxing few days. Amazing views from the room's balcony and the restaurants. The food was excellent. The pool was a lovely escape from the heat.

The location, the hot tub, the mountain views, the cabin, what is not to like? This is an absolute gem, one of the accommodation highlights on our trip.
Merwenstein - Guest House, Cottages, Studio-Units enjoys a location in Bonnievale, 1.5 miles from Bonnievale Golf Club and 1.5 miles from Myrtl Rigg Memorial Church.
We stayed in Honey Bee Cottage. It has 2 rooms with big comfy beds. The cottage was clean and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed. The outside braai (BBQ) is a barrel so can be moved. The splash pool and hot-tub are nice (although we did not use the hot-tub).
The only negatives was that the one bathroom/shower is shared by both bedrooms (each room has a door leading into the bathroom). I was also surprised at how close the neighboring cottage was, as none of the photos showed this.
