We really enjoyed our nice room with en-suite bathroom and a little kitchen. The room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The garden with the goats, ducks and the horses was really beautiful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Second visit and hopefully not the last. Angela is a wonderful host and the 3 Schnauzers stole my heart. The neighbour's adorable cat came to visit and demanded a lot of attention, we gladly obliged. Everything you need is provided in the unit. We did not order any breakfast, but the menu looks delicious. We love the patio and of course the seaview.
Really interesting community. Best place is on the stoep at the Pig and Whistle. Their food was great, there is a pool table for entertainment for the kids. Prices are very good and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Packed full of arts and crafts markets, tourist sites and little places to explore. Old settler charm. Perfect for a few days in the area. The Pig and Whistle is a great place to eat with its live music and bustling street-side location.
This stay was fantastic. Warm and friendly hosts. Drinks served in the garden next to the pool (a bar available if you prefer). Amazing food from Carla - daily menu from local produce was exceptional (booking essential). We loved it all so much we extended our stay by a night (which says it all). We ate at the property both nights. Local area was great fun to explore - Bathurst is small, quaint and quirky - we thoroughly enjoyed looking around, especially over a weekend. Would definitely recommend.
The ambience with Carla and Fred as hosts was spectacular.
The location was great close to the town of Bathurst and Summerhill pineapple farm- the largest in SA. The cherry on the top was the breakfast - homemade by Chef Carla. The pool was clean and sparkling and provided much entertainment for us. The farm being small and quaint also gave us the privacy we required. One major positive was that the farm is powered by a solar system so no load shedding for us. Hippip hooray.
The hosts were warm and welcoming. Great location just outside of Bathurst. They are connected to solar and you don't even know there's load shedding. Great breakfast
