Iskele is not a place for people who are young it's very boring you only have the complex and the place is dirty some of the people are unwelcoming and we felt very intimidating there unfortunately we cut the holiday short due to the apartment owner throwing us out

Lovely and plenty of things to do. I recommend u have a hire car as it’s easier to get about to different areas, but be careful as the drivers don’t indicate and cut in front of your car with no warning

Great small town but with plenty of shops of all sorts.

Great small town but with plenty of shops of all sorts. Multiple restaurants coffee shops and markets. Newer shops ready to open as well as the area develops. Fairly close to some large Hotels with Casinos if that is of interest and a really great Long Beach.

Unfortunately Iskele has seen an unprecedented level of development. Fancy complex’s are built next to other building sites, pot hole ridden roads that you could lose your car in. There seems to be communities settling in the area who have absolutely no desire to understand local customs or culture or even interact with the indigenous community. The over development means infrastructure is not there. Just take a look at the beach hygiene surveys. It’s a good base if you want to explore the rest of the island but Long Beach to me has no identity, no community and no soul.
