The location of the Kyrenia Palace is ideal - barely a minute's walk from the Old Port, Kyrenia Castle and the esplanade. The public parking is manned by friendly staff, costs only 7 Euros per day and is only 100m away, up a staircase. The hotel is old-world and quite charming - almost a museum in the lounge, four-poster beds in the rooms. And the staff were very helpful.
Breakfast is served to your table on a tray. It's a bit spartan - one boiled egg, cheeses, salad, brade basket and jams - but we found it adequate. Still, it would disappoint greedy guests who like to attack a sumptuous self-service buffet.
