Location close to the old town and bazaar. It was about a good 15 minute walk from the main bus station.Very lovely receptionist, her first day on the job who was always on call to help and answer any questions.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel 12 - the staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were particularly helpful ahead of our stay when arranging a taxi transfer from the Lake Koman ferry terminal in Fierze. The location is very good - only a 5-10 minute walk from the main stretch in Gjakova and a 10-15 minute walk from the bus terminal. The one point to note is that in our room you could see through from the bedroom into the shower so something to be aware of if travelling with someone you're not that intimate with! All in all we had a comfortable stay at Hotel 12.

The host was very communicative and timely, friendly and helpful. My reception was exceptional and I felt welcomed immediately. The apartment is quite large, with a small sitting room, kitchen, fridge, bathroom, clothes washer, a large bedroom and Wifi provided. The temperature of the room was good, everything was exceptionally clean. It is located up 9 flights of stairs though, so not for everyone. Located central to many shops and food/bars. It is also relatively quiet despite the bars, although you can still hear the mosque. Blackout curtains provided as well. This was excellent for the price.

The view out front of the happy hotel, the place shines at night, and the sun reflects off of the river during the day. The buildings, the cobblestone streets, the sightings of family gatherings and the monuments dedicated to those whom have contributed to the town for its improvement were an amazing sight to behold and made me pleased to stay for the time I did.

I love the old town.
I love the old town. We were there for a music festival (Carshia Fest). It was really fun. The musical talent was amazing, actually. The food and drink was all good and not overpriced at all. Lots of good hotels in the area. It has a nice river walk and is near lots of great hiking. Old Turkish style architecture is still abundant in this town.
