We visited Halo Retreat while touring Vietnam on our motorcycles. We had a fantastic stay and are very grateful to our host who guided us to a mechanic to fix an issue with one of our bikes. Our room was clean and modern, the bed was very comfortable, the evening meal we had was delicious and I have high praise for our friendly and helpful hosts. City is big enough to feed and entertain you all the night.
City is big enough to feed and entertain you all the night. The dam is nice from every angle. Be aware foreigners need passport to buy a ticket to get there. Ba Vi park is nearby and fun to explore on motorcycle. The other side of the dam should be nice too, but we didn't managed to see everything in just weekend.
