We booked the hostel based on the reviews here and was not disappointed! The location is excellent, we had our toddler and being close to the lake meant that everything was nearby. I was unwell when we arrived and spent the day resting in our room, it was warm and comfortable even though it was freezing outside. The family that hosted us are amazing. We wanted to stay an extra day but they were already fully booked. They promptly sorted out a new accommodation for us and helped us move our luggage. Our little boy absolutely adored their little Bo and we want to extend our biggest thanks to our wonderful hosts for being so welcoming and kind. We hope to visit again one day! Much love from my family to yours!

If you want to avoid the noise and lights of Sapa township, then try the Eco Lodge- 6 klms out of town in a genuinely quiet and authentic rural location. Wonderful facilities, isolation, and attentive staff. Very good dining and beautiful garden environment. Very highly recommended.

Sapa is definitely a bit chilly in December and some accommodations do not have heat or only have an electric blanket. I was a bit sick the week I stayed and could have enjoyed more and stayed even longer if I was fully recovered.
I'd recommend staying at least a week if you can. Have a couple days mixed in just to enjoy some of the cozy restaurants (The Mist, Thong Dong Vegan 2, and White Cloud Cafe) as these are very fun places to sit and read/work on laptop for awhile. I wished I stayed in Ta Van (Charm Spa Hotel) for more than one night to include a full day to just relax, enjoy the views (not even trek), but have a massage and bath. The trekking is fun to different villages and there's some amazing additional tours (through VietTrekking Tour Office) that include many more options than what I initially found online.

Sa Pa is a beautiful place with stunning landscapes and rich cultural heritage. However, it's disheartening to witness the plight of young children begging on the streets. It feels like a form of child abuse when parents send their children to perform in such cold weather, hoping for tips from tourists. This situation highlights the need for better support and protection for these vulnerable children.
Additionally, during our visit to the village, many ladies approached us, trying to sell their handmade items. They were friendly and engaged in conversations with us throughout the visit. However, at the end of the trip, they persistently urged us to buy something from all of them, which created a sense of emotional pressure. This experience was uncomfortable and detracted from the enjoyment of exploring the area.

Loved the cold weather and local foods especially steam hotpots. We enjoyed the glass bridge and catching sunset at lonely tree. Fansipan mountain was good for the experience but felt was overpriced for international tourists and closes too early.

A great town to meander through and discover. The trip to Fansipan via the cable car is a must and if you have time a trek with the Sapa Sisters is highly recommended as a great way to explore the area. We should have stayed longer!

The place is very beautiful, quiet and peaceful. I like the GM Steve Tan who is very friendly and also helpful during the morning buffet breakfast. He recommended some delicious dishes for us to try. There was an Executive staff also very friendly and recommended Vietnam Coffee which was very nice and also she recommended Vietnam Chee Cheong Fun..that was delicious also. There also have shuttle pick up from Hotel to Sapa Town and Sapa Town back to hotel. Overall it's a very nice place, people and surroundings. Love this place.
This is not an hostel, but an hotel Homestay like. So the name can be misleading.
Well located in a side street so easy to get around but not having traffic noise.
They speak English and they are helpful.
Room is small and basic as furniture but ok. They also provide you with heat blanket in case you are cold.
Close to a nice place to have a cheap binh mi and nice egg coffee in the morning which was delicious
I spent four nights there and it was peaceful and nice.
The room was very spacious and clean. The view was nice when the fog was gone. The staff was very friendly and nice. There was a pool that was nice with warm water. Breakfast was good, we could check in very early in the morning for free if we added a breakfast to it
For us it was more pricy comparing than the rest of the hotels we visited in Vietnam.
This homestay deserves a special shoutout. It's filled with incredible - helpfull people, warmth, amazing views, the best food in Vietnam & four adorable dogs. If you're ever in Sa Pa, you must stay here - without a doubt. It's a 20 minute ride from town, but it's so peaceful and I had the best time here. Thanks for all the help & the great stay Duc!
Got free breakfast during our stay in this hotel. Receptionist very helpful and answer all our question. They also help us to call soe viet transportation since we cannot speak in vietnamese. Staff all friendly and recomended to all tourist 👍🏻
