Next to the street, but very quite. We enjoyed the frog concert during the night. We like to sleep with open window and the super clean Moskitonetz made it possible. The Aircon we used one night worked fine. Communication via WhatsApp was flawless with our host. She helped us with ongoing travels. The staff at the resort, also not English speaking, where so sweet and google translate help with the communication.

The staff are incredible! I wasn't comfortable riding a scooter to Rung Tram Tra Sur, so they drove me there themselves and waited for me while I went sightseeing. On the way back, they also showed me a great temple and a huge Buddha statue - and they even took photos and shared them with me afterwards! Their help made my time in Chau Doc so memorable. As for their homestay, the location is excellent - right next to all the major temples in town and Sam Mountain (they drove me to the summit too haha). Plenty of restaurants and vendors nearby. My room was very clean, included towel and toiletries, reliable hot water, strong water pressure, and good AC. Staff are available on-site and are also responsive via messaging. I would return to DeMi and highly recommend others stay there too!
