The rooms were EXCELLENT! Perfect, relaxing view paired with clean facilities and a cosy space to relax and recharge. The beds were definitely my style, too. The entire time we stayed there, it felt like we were at a fancy hotel.
We tried the pool at the clubhouse and used the bikes to go around the island and explore.
The host was superb as well. He was very accommodating to our family and went above and beyond to help us settle in and enjoy the staycation.

I absolutely adored this apartment and the island. It was the most perfect way to recharge away from the noise and pollution of the city. The short 35-minute boat ride from Bach Dang port in District 1 was also a fun addition to the adventure. The host was very helpful and went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed and showed us around. The rooms were clean, spacious, organized, and smelled clean, too! I like how there were many towels and extra duvets available and how the functional kitchen was indeed complete with everything needed to make a simple meal, if we wanted. I would definitely come back here.

We had a corner room with excellent views of the surrounding area, topped only by the views from the rooftop pool. The staff was very accommodating and the onsite spa, although not owned by the hotel, was an extra bonus.
There were a number of pleasant surprises with La Vela, too. First, the gym was absolutely incredible. It is probably one of the best gyms we’ve enjoyed in any hotel, anywhere. It was very large and the equipment was top-shelf.
Second, the breakfast buffet was also way above any expectations! The quality and seemingly unlimited choice of food and beverages was almost beyond belief.
In fact, the breakfast was so good that we needed to hit that fantastic gym more than we expected during our stay!

The location was excellent. In walking distance to a very large variety of shopping and restaurants, plus buildings of interest.
The breakfast offered was the best that we had experience in our 3+ weeks in Vietnam. Our chosen river front room gave us an excellent view of the area and the new city being built
