Even though just in three days visiting to Nha Trang, my impression that local people here are genuinely friendly and genuinely smiley. The city relatively clean where I go. I don't like those motorcycle to take up all the side walk that are for pedestrians causing some safety issue. That happen almost every where I have been not just in Nha Trang. A challenge for the authority and not me as me will ET when my trip end.

Unless a visitor could gain more specific benefits in HCM City, which is the hottest Saigon during my visit (in November), it may be cheaper (subject to your personal choice), fresher environment, more relaxed and the best sea air to stay in Nha Trang City.

We stayed at the Vinpearl Resort in a villa on the beach-front, and for a family with three young children this was a better investment than saving up for a Disney trip! There's plenty of things to do, and the food is excellent. Yes, the island resort is pricey, but you get what you pay for- the staff are attentive, friendly and helpful on the island, and the locals are too.
Don't be afraid to barter the price and learn some Vietnamese lingo before coming to Nha Trang so you can better understand how to barter. It just takes common sense. I stayed for 14 days and it was just right, considering it was a family holiday. I recommend having 1 day to relax by the pool and the next day to do an activity or sight-see, and then repeat the process.
The markets and shops are plentiful but the items are kind of repetitive, so I wouldn't spend too much time and effort looking around shops. The supermarket is quite interesting and you can pick up souvenirs there for cheaper- and some rain-macs too! I definitely recommend visiting the Cham towers!
Vin Wonders was great for a day trip, we visited the 2nd time for the water park but as our children were under 12 and under height restrictions we could only stick to one play area of the water park. The best part about Vin Wonders was the zoo and aquarium which was shockingly amazing, unlike any zoo or aquarium I've seen before. The animals look well cared for, in their element and very lively!
All-in-all, our trip was wonderful and full of memories that will last a life-time. See you next time Vietnam!

So many things to do nearby, Islands day-tour was a must-go experience. Swimming in crystal clear water was great, my kids saw many fishes and urchins by their bare eyes, they were so exciting.
It's a multi-cultural city, we visited Po Nagar Tower, it has so many history with Buddhist culture. There is also a roman catholic church.
The local people are so friendly.
Flourishing and busy streets and shopping centers, we chose a random restaurant with a cozy courtyard seat. We ordered a steamed lobster with a reasonable price, the lobster was so fresh and tender, even it's simply steamed.

It is a very touristy friendly place with plenty of activities to do. There were many places to eat and walk around in. There were not a lot of people in the timeframe I was there, but it looks like they can host a lot of visitors.

Nah Trang was a busy, highly commercial holiday resort aimed at getting wealthy Russians, Chinese and Koreans to part with their money. It was tiresome being offered massages every 100 metres or being pestered to enter cafes or buy things in shops. I was there as a stopover so wasn’t too concerned about its negative aspects but succeeded in finding places to meet local people outside of the tourist industry and I found some wonderful authentic food. The beach, while pretty, was littered with people’s trash and, on the one occasion I swam there, a line of plastic pollution including nappies/diapers came towards the shore from the sea. I imagine the water is probably chemically polluted too.

We had a family room with two beds on the 9th floor with a small balcony which had a great view. The location is perfect, so close to the beach. There is a laneway in front of the hotel which is a dead end, so pretty quiet really, plus there are restaurants, massage places, laundry places & shops right there. Air conditioning worked well & good to have a small fridge in your room. The staff were all friendly especially the young girl during the day, always smiling & helpful and she spoke good English. Great value for money.
Location a bit aside but much calmer thanks to this. Not far to city center, beach bars within few minutes of walking distance Hotel is new and very clean with excellent breakfasts. Sea view of my room perfect!
Last but most important is staff. Very nice and professional, doing everything for you to feel comfortable and happy. I need to come back to Vietnam, to the very amazing hotel!
I really liked the decor and layout here, which gave a pleasant and comfortable feeling. All the equipment was new and worked well. Right across from the hotel is Tran Phu Beach, where my family and I enjoyed walking, swimming, and watching the sunrise in the morning.
As a family of 5, we loved it all. The breakfast was amazing. The options were limitless, there was something for absolutely everyone.
The pool area and private beach area were lovely and the staff are just amazing all throughout the hotel.
Paid 320.000 thousand Vietnam don per night.
So thats outstanding hotel for the price paid. Hope they continue offering good price deals.
