We booked the hostel based on the reviews here and was not disappointed! The location is excellent, we had our toddler and being close to the lake meant that everything was nearby. I was unwell when we arrived and spent the day resting in our room, it was warm and comfortable even though it was freezing outside. The family that hosted us are amazing. We wanted to stay an extra day but they were already fully booked. They promptly sorted out a new accommodation for us and helped us move our luggage. Our little boy absolutely adored their little Bo and we want to extend our biggest thanks to our wonderful hosts for being so welcoming and kind. We hope to visit again one day! Mr Kim (the hotel manager) and his team alone gives the hotel rating an extra star. He is present on the front desk and had a way of magically resolving any and every matter relating to our visit to Sapa. We were well cared for and very safe. The location is the best to get around Sapa on foot, the hotel is in the heart of the town without being in the immediate busyness of the area. I would happily return to this hotel. We managed to see and do along independently including visiting mount Fansipan. Mr Kim helped us organise our itinerary and made the reservations seamlessly without it taking much time at all. He is extremely well connected. The nicest touch was Mr Kim was aware that we had a restricted diet, on the day of our departure (to Hanoi on a sleeper bus) he and his staff of their own accord presented us with 4 sandwiches for the long trip knowing we would struggle to find something during the stopovers. The breakfasts during our stay were brilliant, the omelettes, French toast and pancakes were cooked to order, with love and care, and were divine.
