The location is unbelievable, the most beautiful place i have ever slept at. Amazing views. Very nice owners, made me dinner and a light breakfast. The stay is really authentic, all the animals roaming freely at the nearby field... just a wonderful place!!

Although we were there on a cloudy rainy day, the view would be amazing. We were here on 14 October, and rice harvest had finished. Would be spectacular with golden rice fields. Lovely hike down the hill through jungle to the village and back up the road. Back by 10.30 so were able to shower and change after and have lunch before we left. We ate dinner, breakfast and lunch there. All were REALLY good. The villas are spacious, clean and comfortable and have a little balcony outside. Owners very friendly and lovely (no English spoken FYI)

Not worth the price. More ‘rustic eco cottage’ than ‘lodge’. I’d suggest $25 usd per night maximum. We paid $60 usd.
Cockroaches in bathroom and bedroom at night. Pool was GREEN from algae and not suitable to swim in.
Very out of the way. 1hr off the main road to HaGiang, up winding and at times dangerously tight roads.
Beautiful scenery and location. Bungalows perched over a dam full of frogs so if you’re not used to nature sounds, you may not sleep well.
Was probably good when new but has not stood up well to ageing.
Do not ride here unless you are an experienced rider. Take a driver/car.
When you arrive, there is nothing else in the area so you can only get food at the restaurant. Food was very nice. No fridge, no aircon. Staff very nice.

The mini museum at Panhou has many interesting things. Although it's not large, it contains a lot of information about the culture and history of the Red Dao people. I really enjoyed the displayed artifacts, from clothing to everyday items. In particular, the guide shared many fascinating stories that helped me gain a deeper understanding of their way of life. This is a valuable activity for those who love exploring culture.

Nậm Lỳ Retreat is a truly beautiful place, managed by really friendly and helpful people. We stayed here for one night and continued on a 3-day hike through the Hoang Su Phi region afterwards, eating with locals and sleeping in real homestays.
Lee has organized everything perfectly from the beginning to the end, inlcuding the transports, the meals and stays as well as the local guide for the hike, who leads you to beautiful rice terraces, mountain landscapes and remote villages, all of that without meeting any other tourists.
It has been the most special days of our one-month vacation in Vietnam and I can highly recommend to come here for this very authentic experience!
