You should absolutely go stay at Mama Lili's! Mama Lili and her daughter in law Shu Ly are amazing people and generous hosts. The view is beautiful, the bungalows are clean and comfy, and the company is exceptional. Highlights were trekking through the rice fields and villages with Shu Ly and learning more about their culture over dinner. Hope to return soon!

The breakfast was really good. There are a lot of choices and all of them are yummy. Ofcourse they have fried rice haha. I like rice haha some of the restos they don’t have rice only noodles. This hotel god noodles and rice for you to choose. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my relatives and friends and if I come back I would stay here again. The best for me was the heater on the bed, it was very cold, it was January 3 hehe, they have both aircon heater and bed heater. I slept like a log. The best and perfect.

Worth for the penny! We were accomodated by a beautiful family, the owner surprisingly is also the cook and receptionist, very hardworking man. He just don’t smile a lot, probably due to the load of his work every day, so that’s understandable. Just sending it here as a headsup, but he is a decent and kind man.
As for our room, it is very big! No complains there. The bed even has a heating pads, which we were thankful for since during december, it was freakin cold there. AC heater won’t do much.

This was such a great landing spot after a long overnight bus ride. The location is a block from the lake and energy of the town but quiet on the hill. Our room was clean and had heat for the cold evenings. The best part of this hotel is the owner, Mr. Kim. He helped us with tour tickets, taxi rides, laundry, and accommodating us for a shower after our two day trek. He also held our luggage. The breakfast is amazing too. We stayed in a family room with our 2 teens and had ample space.
