Such a gorgeous little homestay. It was just what we needed after a long bus ride. Comfy beds, hot shower & cute little balcony. We arrived late & the owner organised for her husband to come get us from the bus station as we were travelling with children & weren't keen on bikes. She also gave some great recommendations for restaurants & info for the Cambodian border crossing.

A good place for 2-3 day breaks. The traditional part of the town is a good place to walk round. The streets are not crowded. There is a large ‘CoopMart’ supermarket for supplies. There are 1 or 2 western style cofffee shops to relax in such as the “Everyday” coffee shop which sits just back from the water. At night there are a number of large modern and smart Asian restaurants. A lot of money is being devoted towards developing not just this coastal part of Vietnam but also the adjoining coastal region of Cambodia.

Ha Tien is great place of the nature created but will turn the tourists off because the beauty of nature places is not clean and need to repairs it or up grade to make it better in order to attractive to the tourists.

Getting around Ha Tien is easy.
Getting around Ha Tien is easy. What you need is to rent a bike and hang around Ha Tien. Ha Tien is pretty small, so maybe just a day is enough. My favorite spot is probably Mac's house- an old house with a big garden like a forest surrounding. It's cool, and also you can hear some stories about this place.
You can visit Night market, however, it is somehow the same as other coastal cities in VN.
The only thing I hate about this place is the price. Except for the homestay I booked in advance on booking, the price of food or service here seems pretty high.
Lucky for me, for dinner, we ask the locals and get the right place to eat - Anh Du/ Vu offers many seafood dishes at reasonable prices.
You can go to the supermarket - Coopmart in case you find the price is too high.

Honest and extremely helpful, sweet staff!! They helped us book our ferry tickets to Phu Quốc and the tickets ended up being less than advertised price. The lovely staff messaged to notify me and refunded us the difference!! I would never have known unless they told me!!

Ecerything was great. The host was very kind and available, she helped me book ferry tickets and gave me good advice to visit Ha Tien during my stay. The room was very confortable and clean, good location in Ha Tien. I recommend!
