Not worth the price. More ‘rustic eco cottage’ than ‘lodge’. I’d suggest $25 usd per night maximum. We paid $60 usd.
Cockroaches in bathroom and bedroom at night. Pool was GREEN from algae and not suitable to swim in.
Very out of the way. 1hr off the main road to HaGiang, up winding and at times dangerously tight roads.
Beautiful scenery and location. Bungalows perched over a dam full of frogs so if you’re not used to nature sounds, you may not sleep well.
Was probably good when new but has not stood up well to ageing.
Do not ride here unless you are an experienced rider. Take a driver/car.
When you arrive, there is nothing else in the area so you can only get food at the restaurant. Food was very nice. No fridge, no aircon. Staff very nice.

Beautiful property in the corner of town situated right next to a beautiful mountain. Peaceful, quiet and tranquil. But the family is what makes this place extra special. Huyen, the owner went out of her way to make our stay and our experience the best possible. She organised all our transfers for us from Hanoi and back rented us a bike and everything we needed for our trip on the loop.
Their entire property and town got flooded during our first night with heavy rains, the families car and house and first floor of hotel was 1.5m under water. We were stuck in our room for most of the day . Although these poor people had a terrible tragedy happen to them with devastating losses, we where still their first concern and went out of their way to get warm tasty food to us, make sure we had water and everything we needed. I have never seen people work so hard and with determination to save their belongings, clean up and get their property back to working order as soon as possible. Family members came from everywhere to help and worked nonstop to save as much as possible. When we came back from 2 days on the loop we were absolutely astonished how the property was 99% back to normal and cleaned up. I cannot recommend Huyen and her homestay enough!!!We left with a full heart and a new friend.

The staff at the hostel was amazing. They helped us adjusting our Ha Giang Loop itinerary, giving us a lot of tips and recommendations. The hostel was pretty close from the bus station. This was great because we arrived at Ha Giang at 3am

One of the best things about staying at the HG Hostel and...
One of the best things about staying at the HG Hostel and Motorbikes was the motorbike rental service they offered. My girlfriend and I were able to rent new and well-maintained motorbikes for a very affordable price. The staff were very helpful and gave us helmets, maps, and insurance. We had an awesome time riding around the spectacular landscapes of Ha Giang, and we felt safe and comfortable on our motorbikes. The HG Hostel & Motorbikes made our trip to Ha Giang more convenient and enjoyable, and we highly recommend it to anyone who loves motorbike adventures!

We booked our Ha Giang loop four-day tour through this hostel and had an incredible trip! The hostel itself was a great base for our first night, really clean and comfortable double room with bathrooms clean and tidy! There was bathroom in each room and very clean!

Wonderfull trip and I enjoyed it very much, I will recommend it to everybody who wants to experience the Ha Giang to do it with HG Hostel and Motorbike; everything was perfect arranged also the Homestays on the trip were very kind!
