Not worth the price. More ‘rustic eco cottage’ than ‘lodge’. I’d suggest $25 usd per night maximum. We paid $60 usd.
Cockroaches in bathroom and bedroom at night. Pool was GREEN from algae and not suitable to swim in.
Very out of the way. 1hr off the main road to HaGiang, up winding and at times dangerously tight roads.
Beautiful scenery and location. Bungalows perched over a dam full of frogs so if you’re not used to nature sounds, you may not sleep well.
Was probably good when new but has not stood up well to ageing.
Do not ride here unless you are an experienced rider. Take a driver/car.
When you arrive, there is nothing else in the area so you can only get food at the restaurant. Food was very nice. No fridge, no aircon. Staff very nice.

I had the best Ha Giang loop experience with Ann and the other easy riders over the course of three days. Ann was an amazing guide and helped us and joined us in all social activities throughout. I already miss my karaoke/chess/bike buddy.. See you next time!!

The owner stayed up very late to receive me after a much delayed bus ride. She offered breakfast for very cheap and when I told her I was going on a 4 day trip on ha Giang loop, she offered to store my heavy luggage so I could enjoy the trip.
For this price it’s a wonderful stay.

New! Only opened just before Christmas, all the facilities and interior is still new. Understand there wasn't a lot of staff as it's still getting established. However, they made sure we had the best service possible.

Words cannot describe this amazing experience. The guide and drivers were beyond friendly and extremely considerate of their riders especially on the bumpy roads and the honestly in Dong Van was stunning. The views seen at every stop was beyond breathtaking and fun to be had at night with happy water and Kareoke. Was the absolute highlight of my time in Vietnam and I would fully encourage others to add it to their must do list.

One of the best things about staying at the HG Hostel and...
One of the best things about staying at the HG Hostel and Motorbikes was the motorbike rental service they offered. My girlfriend and I were able to rent new and well-maintained motorbikes for a very affordable price. The staff were very helpful and gave us helmets, maps, and insurance. We had an awesome time riding around the spectacular landscapes of Ha Giang, and we felt safe and comfortable on our motorbikes. The HG Hostel & Motorbikes made our trip to Ha Giang more convenient and enjoyable, and we highly recommend it to anyone who loves motorbike adventures!
