The family dinner is great, and the host is absolutely amazing. The location in the middle of the rice fields makes it worth it. I'd definitely stay again.

Staff here are very friendly and always loocked out for our needs. The manager gave us a quick information about Sapa upon our check-in, which was really helpful. He helped us call a taxi when we checked out too.
There was also an option to join a trekking tour which allowed us to immerse in a local experience as we trekked through the rice fields of Muong Hoa valley and interacted with the Hmong people.

Scenic location with a view of the rice fields and mountains, the rooms were really cosy and clean. The host - Loan and her family were very welcoming, kind and always eager to help. Loan made us so comfortable and helped us with anything we asked her for. She made amazing homely breakfast every single day. I’d certainly recommend her homestay in Ta Van over the stays in Sapa anyday.

Lovely family-run homestay near Su Pan, it felt like home. The owners were very kind to us and offered local wine when having dinner at their restaurant, helped us book a taxi and get information on how to book a bus to another location.

We loved the location! Just amazing. It was about 12 km outside of the very active SAPA town. We sat on our porch daily and took photos of the changing rice fields and weather. We were there in mid August. Just walk the village up the road or down. See rice field care, children playing including with water buffalo and cooling in the springs and streams. We experienced the rise of the stream to a huge river. Living in clouds and in sunshine. The people were friendly and hotel staff were extremely helpful. They offer Trekking, batiking and crafts workshops in the villages, meals at reasonable prices. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing.
The bungalow style room has a nice size walk in shower, bathtub too. The towels are good quality and soft. A place to put your clothes or lay open your suitcase. There is a balcony, ours faced the mountains of rice fields and we could see the sunset. There are comfortable chairs on the balcony and a sofa in the room. The bed is good. There are side tables. The infinity pool also had a jacuzzi AND fantastic views of the mountains. and rice terraces.

We had an amazing time staying at Anh Duc Homestay. We stayed in a private room with shared bathroom, which was actually alright. It was never occupied when we needed to use or go for showers, it was as clean as you can expect from a shared bathroom. The location was absolutely amazing! Staff are so lovely and helpful. They organised everything for us, the owner made sure that made have something to eat when we left 5am, which was pretty nice of them.
They have breakfast, and serve food all day. We joined for dinner, which was nice and we had a lot of food! We are both vegetarian and vegan, we felt accommodated enough. Just breakfast for vegan that could be improved, as I only had bread and coffee but it’s ok.
Overall, I would 100% recommend this place. Our room was lovely and cosy. It was small but we had the space we needed. There are people who paid a little bit more for a cabin, which could be worth if you can afford it too. Hope you enjoy your stay!

We loved our stay at Sapa Hmong Bungalow Homestay. It is definitely what made our trip to Sapa. The family are beautiful and you truely feel relaxed and at ease when you are here. Its location is out of main town Sapa but there is a shop, coffee shop and restaurant near by. If you communicate with the owner in advance, he is very helpful in organizing taxis to transfer you to and from the city.
We ate our meals with the family which we recommend - Ashoun’s wife is a wonderful cook. We also organised 2 treks with Ashoun. One was a local one which we would not have got through a regular company and the second was Mount Fanispan - the highest peak in Indochina. Both were incredible and are a MUST if you stay here.
If you want to experience the real Sapa we highly recommend booking at Sapa Hmong Bungalow Homestay. We are so grateful for our experience here and already miss it!
