Beautiful peaceful property, spacious, modern, and well thought out, with rooms accessible to a central dining building. We were given the choice of two different rooms, and picked the larger one with a very comfortable bed, lounge, coffee table, and desk, surrounded by gardens, because we wanted lots of space. The other room was right on the water, which was also excellent. Both were spotless, well furnished, and light. Dung, the lovely host, was fantastic. He looked after us like we were family, helping with information, bookings, food, everything he could think of. So worth staying here if you can.

Beautiful property in the corner of town situated right next to a beautiful mountain. Peaceful, quiet and tranquil. But the family is what makes this place extra special. Huyen, the owner went out of her way to make our stay and our experience the best possible. She organised all our transfers for us from Hanoi and back rented us a bike and everything we needed for our trip on the loop. Their entire property and town got flooded during our first night with heavy rains, the families car and house and first floor of hotel was 1.5m under water. We were stuck in our room for most of the day . Although these poor people had a terrible tragedy happen to them with devastating losses, we where still their first concern and went out of their way to get warm tasty food to us, make sure we had water and everything we needed. I have never seen people work so hard and with determination to save their belongings, clean up and get their property back to working order as soon as possible. Family members came from everywhere to help and worked nonstop to save as much as possible. When we came back from 2 days on the loop we were absolutely astonished how the property was 99% back to normal and cleaned up. I cannot recommend Huyen and her homestay enough!!!We left with a full heart and a new friend.

The staff at the hostel was amazing. They helped us adjusting our Ha Giang Loop itinerary, giving us a lot of tips and recommendations. The hostel was pretty close from the bus station. This was great because we arrived at Ha Giang at 3am
