very lovely place run by a family. Everybody was so nice and helpful. We booked a couple of tours at the place and got free bicycles to use to drive around. The food was amazing. Tasted fresh and homemade. Such a nice experience. The only downside is that's a bit outside of Can Tho city if you want to go there. But staying outside the city in the nature is so nice. Definitely would recommend to stay here!

Staying with Bosa and his family has been the highlight of our Vietnam trip. They made us feel very welcome and gave us a good insight into real Vietnamese life - not the tourist version.
The house is amazing. Sitting on the deck watching the river was very relaxing. It was a great contrast from Ho Chi Minh City, our previous destination.
Bosa was our guide for a day doing floating markets, markets and city. It was great to be with a local host as it didn’t feel touristy.
Phoenix’s home cooked meals were amazing - the best food in Vietnam. Definitely a highlight.

The staff at Sampan house were exceptional. They really tried hard to make our stay as pleasant as possible. They don't speak any English, so we relied on Google Translate which worked well most of the time, although there was the odd misunderstanding which is to be expected. The iced coffee was brilliant and the Vietnamese breakfast was very tasty.
