    Tortola is remote.

Tortola is remote. Its not like other islands, its primitive (in camping terms). There really isn't a lot to do in my opinion. Long Bay Beach Resort is the nicest on the island and the nicest beach too, imo. We didnt eat anywhere outside of the resort due to its location and the driving situation. Cane Garden Bay is fun to go visit. They have some local things to take photo ops in front of and you can actually get in the water there and swim, no waves. We didnt hike in Sage Mountain but wanted to. The driving is next level here. Very scary in my opinion, get a 4x4! Every town looks shanty so try and be where you are going by sunset, or get a taxi. We traveled over to Virgin Gorda by car ferry. That was an experience, Id probably do it differently next time.
