The Milligan, hotel in Kingstown

Situated in Kingstown, less than 1 km from Brighton Beach, The Milligan features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace.

The proprietors of the property are amazing and hospitable people who accepted to offer their kind hospitality right after hurricane Beryl and the whole area was without power. That was extremely kind of them at a time of room shortages on the island. They were most helpful all along till we were well on our way to the airport.

Castle Berry Apartments, hotel in Kingstown

Set in Kingstown, Saint Vincent region, Castle Berry Apartments is located 1.5 km from Brighton Beach. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi.

The hosts, Peter and Gus are incredibly gracious, which is the strongest plus point for staying here. Because Gus drove me around I was able to access the bus stop and also get groceries after arriving late at night. He also drove me to the beach and brought me back. Peter gave me a late check out free of charge. The physical facilities are very nice, but the main benefit of Castleberry are the hosts and managers.

Wallilabou bay (Pirates of the Caribbean location), Dark view falls (a great fall with easy access and change room available), Owia salt pond and Black point tunnel all wonderful places all excellent places. Getting around is not that easy so renting a car is advised.

If you're going to be on the island for more than one week...

If you're going to be on the island for more than one week rent a car , the public transportation is horrible the taxis are expensive and the busses are packed. They will literally make you sit on their laps. Visit Bequia and plan your trip more around the Grenadines instead of mainland St Vincent. Visit villa beach , owia salt pond and hike the volcano. Take a walk through the local market and try the local cuisine. Be very careful , don't move around with to much cash especially at nights if you're out on the streets. The people are some of the best in the world very warm hearted and helpful. Visit VJ's resturant in Kingstown for local food On Fridays head to French Varanda from 5pm Visit chill spot for a mix of local and international cuisine Paradise Beach hotel for their burgers and roti. Head to bluelagoon for their BBQ buffet on Wednesdays.

Lots of hustle and bustle with easy access to the beautiful Grenadines by ferry or plane and wonderful hiking in lush St Vincent countryside. Be sure to try the local food and hike the volcano, Soufriere, but beware, it’s not for the faint hearted.

The restaurant at the hotel is very good serving some local dishes like conch fritters. The breakfast was very well done with a hearty western style breakfast. The room is very comfortable with a very good shower.

We did not have breakfast at the hotel. Breakfast should have been complementary. No meals was complementary. At least one meal should have been complementary due to the cost of our stay.
