The staff was great, the place had all we needed for traveling with a family, and the location was great. A bit away from the hustle and bustle but still close to beaches.
Offering an indoor pool, a business centre, Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham is located in York.

I liked the view of the ocean from the room's balcony, the mini-kitchen and the feel of older, better times when my husband and I traveled the coast of Maine. I appreciate that the motel is privately run, and not part of a chain.
Set in York, in a historic building, less than 1 km from York Harbor Beach, Albracca is a bed and breakfast with a garden and shared lounge.

A really amazing stay where you get the feeling to travel back centuries. The whole interior design was made with so much detail. Additionally to that with the warm welcome and the delicious breakfast, I really loved staying there.
Just a half-mile from Maine’s Atlantic coast and 2 miles from Interstate 95, The Grand Hotel has an indoor heated pool and outdoor hot tub. It is located less than a half-mile from Perkin’s Cove.

Jacuzzi and location are excellent. Very comfortable rooms.
This property is 3 minutes walk from the beach. In York Beach, Maine, these oceanfront accommodations are steps from the beach and views of the Atlantic Ocean can be enjoyed from select rooms.

The facilities and the view were a dream come true.
shower was unacceptable
window had no lock and entire window needed replacement , large hole in screen
unsecure entry door - no second bolt - there used to be one but it had been covered with a metal plate-
undersized ac unit in window provided no relief from stuffiness of small uninsulated old remodeled beach cabin. windows could not be left open in the evening ... very unsecure accomodation
suffered eye irritation on the way home due to animals housed in room previously. although room was clean , dander must have been everywhere. other nearby rooms , 3 dogs in the room next to us, and 2 dogs in the next room.... dogs barking at all guests and passersby ...mattresses had rubberized covers and the sheets slid all over . mattress was on a platform and sunk down to the board.... I am not an oversized person , the mattresses were unsatisfactory and sufficient only for animals.

York is a charming and fun beach community. There is something for everyone- shopping, dining, beach, arcades, bowling, trivia- the list goes on. Many things are within walking distance and the beaches are great.

Cute beach town, easy access to amenities. We walked to the beaches, coffee shops, Nubble Lighthouse (where we saw a bald eagle atop the lighthouse keeper’s house and ate outside at Fox’s Lobster House). The scenery and weather were lovely and refreshing!

Its on the ocean but we didn't find much to do other than visiting the light house and eating on the water. Its close to several golf courses, that's why I was there. We noticed a lot of families with small kids so the Zoo was probably a draw. We found a couple of restaurants on the water and we were able to sit outside and enjoy sea air. There are some beautiful homes along the water. The down town is quaint.

On good weather days it can get crowded so arrive early to beach areas. Also, it is paid parking. Be sure to check out Short Sands Beach as well for a quaint downtown area with recreation. There’s a park/viewing area at Nubble Light and a great restaurant and ice cream stands. If you are looking for a quiet, family friendly New England coastal getaway, York is a great fit.

It's not a very large place but it does have some lovely shops, a good food store (Hannigans) some lovely walks around the bay and York beach area, although parking by the beach can be a bit of a problem. The York museum of history was well worth a visit, check opening times first & you pay a small charge. There is also a lovely coastal drive to visit the Nubble lighthouse .

This is a beautiful place in a great location, just a few minutes drive to a variety of restaurants and you can actually walk to York Harbor Beach. Room was super spacious and squeaky clean. Breakfast was delicious and Dole was very accommodating letting us check-in early and replying very quickly when I emailed beforehand. Would stay again without hesitation!
Nice hotel for a single night. Nice clean room with comfortable beds. The bathroom had everything you need. The breakfast was OK. There were no problems with getting a parking space. What more do you need when you're on a road trip.
The hotel looked nice, the lobby, dining area, and pool were well laid out, easy to find.
Our room was clean and comfortable.
The breakfast was good. We enjoyed making our own waffles.
