This was a return visit for family every year.
Rapids is easy to get around. It has many historical places to go.

The town is spread out a lot more than I thought.
The town is spread out a lot more than I thought. I was pretty dependent upon my gps to get me around. This was not an issue since the purpose of my trip was to spend all three days at the kennels where the seminar took place.

The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of space for my teens to have their own hideaways amidst the hustle and bustle of visiting all the family in town. We appreciated having laundry facilities on site and access to a full kitchen with dishes. Cleaning supplies were decent and easy to find . Toilet paper wasn't super cheap and fall apart. I would book it again and I definitely recommend those traveling with family to do so. My youngest was very excited to see deer from the bedroom window door and loved the walking path .
No carpeting in the guest room made the room feel cleaner. The hotel was centrally located and was near restaurants, stores and near the baseball fields we were visiting.
