Staff was very friendly and went out of their way to help. When there was a boil water alert they offered us bottled water for drinking. Breakfast had a fair bit of variety and staff constantly refilled things.
Not enough time to explore the town. We planned just enough time to visit The Ark and Creation Museum. We wished we had planned a couple extra days so we could have explored Williamstown and surrounding towns. We were impressed with Kentucky.

We went specifically to go visit the Ark Encounter and were happy with our destination for this attraction. It was worth visiting. The surrounding area had some neat local restaurants and you can tell people care and put time and effort into meal preparation. Food was delicious and all the people were very friendly.

I would check my emails more thoroughly!!
I would check my emails more thoroughly!! I missed the cabin # and had problems when we arrived at the cabins figuring out which one was ours. My fault!! We went to see the Ark Encounter.... it was a lot of walking but the presentations, 2 movies, all of the exhibits, life-like figures of Moses & his family were fabulous! It made one stop & think how the world was then filled with hate & corruption and why God had Moses build a giant ark and filled it with 2 of each species of animals, birds & reptiles to start a new.
We ate at a small Mexican restaurant about 4 miles south of the Ark near 75. Delicious dinner and Margaritas!!!

This location was just what we needed for our family We were only minutes away from the ARK which is what we came to see and we could see the top of the ark from the backyard. It accommodated 4 adults, a youth and child very comfortably. The owners were exceptional in their welcome in how the house was well stocked with toiletries and kitchen needs. We even cooked breakfast two mornings and grilled one evening. The Creation Museum was about 40 minutes drive away, but not a problem as it was closer to many restaurants and we preferred being closer to the ARK as we spent a full day there. We loved being able to relax and enjoy the yard and quiet of the area. It was well cared for and we would go back there most definitely rather than a hotel. We enjoyed relaxings walks, the quiet area and the gorgeous sunset from the front porch most of all.

The staff was friendly , but very inefficient the room ALWAYS LOOKED UNCLEAN, especially after it had been cleaned . The lobby is very small and crowded for breakfast .This place must be owned by people who had NO EXPERIENCE IN THE HOTEL BUSINESS.

The town itself is very small it's a nice Town not much to do other than visit the Noah's Ark wish there was more for seniors but if you're a family with children there's a lot more for you to do and enjoy and the best place to stay is this sunrise inn.
