I'm there for work, so I'm not really reviewing the "tourist attractions". Wichita Falls is a small city in north Texas. The downtown is on its way to becoming quite a gem, and there are some killer antique shops. Otherwise Wichita Falls is one of those places you stay on your way through to somewhere else. Nothing bad, but aside from the downtown, nothing exciting either. A few more decent gas stations near the exits would be a major plus. Getting around town is complicated and it's got business areas strung out a bit everywhere. There's also an " Air Force neighborhood" on the northern edge. The university (MSU) area is nice. Most of the city feels congested and like it has outgrown it's road system.

It was a dirty motel, I had to clean air conditioner filter to just breathe the air, it blows on you so we froze all night long, can’t turn it off or it’s sticky..towels are scratchy could even dry hands, there was no coffee or breakfast of any kind…neighborhood seemed sketchy but we had no problems,

When I checked into the room there was no blankets or covers on the beds and no towels in the room so we had to change rooms. The next room didn’t have a light in the bathroom and no remote for the TV and half of the closet was missing along with the refrigerator and microwave. When I went to check out I was told my room was not changed to my Credit Card and I showed the clerk at the desk where it had been changed and she said because I booked on booking.com there was an additional charge that needed to be paid along with my room charges. I declined to pay any additional charges because I booked the room at the rate that was charged to my card. The clerk was very rude and was rude yesterday when I asked her to have someone fix the bathroom light so I could see when I took a shower. I will not stay at this place again.

The location was good, close to restaurants and there was a list of local eateries provided. Bed was comfy and clean, pillows thick but comfy and room temp was good. We liked breakfast, waffle maker, yoghurts, juice and decent coffee. Staff were really friendly.

I'm asking for a discount as I stayed 1 night and was terrified. I had cops beating at my door at midnight and the staff tried renting my room after I was given my room. I checked out with them saying they won't charge me so I'm disputing the charges.
