There wasn't much food on the bar at 8:30 and they didn't stay up on keeping it filled.

The area is filled with outdoor activities and close to the resort. The Varsity in the hotel has great food and an awesome Sunday brunch. Big Draft Brewery, 50 East, April's, etc. are a short walk away and many local spots for great food and places to meet friends on Main.

It was a trip to my past and a chance to visit family and old friends. The town has a great Main Street with small shops and restaurants. It is a small town without a lot of traffic. I would suggest taking a tour of the Greenbrier during your visit.

Cute town with several shops.
Cute town with several shops. I did not have time to visit any shops due to my conference but enjoyed window shopping. I ate at Big Brewing and found the beer fantastic. They had several options for vegetarians. Downstairs from my hotel was a nice little restaurant. There is a coffee shop up the road too. Lots of outdoor activities hopefully, I can return to check out the trails

Interesting hotel concept with a conversion of a former school into a hotel. Clean and spacious room, with a comfy bed and super modern bathroom with a fancy toilet with water jet cleaning like a high pressure washer for your butt ;-) and air dryer. Even the seat was heated.
The furniture design was showing old class lists from the 50s and 60s are decor. Well done. The bar was good, nice drinks and friendly staff.
Great stay - cool concept! Loved the rooftop!
Staff was amazing - chef made recommendations for food and also spent time talking with us about the hotel and concept!
I really enjoyed the excellent customer service and all areas of this hotel. Wendy, bar worker was friendly, helpful, and fast with service in drinks and food.
