Lovely Hotel, just two corners away from the West entry to the park, centrally located yet in a quiet side street. Good continental breakfast with very attentive staff who kept replenishing the buffet. A lovely little western town. The people are friendly and welcoming. There are not enough eating opportunities, all restaurants have long waiting lists. In addition, there doesn't seem to be any places to grab something quick in the evening. On more than one occasion we have ended up in the grocery store, grabbing frozen dinners. Mornings and lunchtime are different, more opportunities. When you do get somewhere to eat, most of the food is really good. Lots of fun places to shop for gifts or souvenirs. There is a great place that will make you a sack lunch, as well as a fabulous breakfast. We always enjoy West Yellowstone.

We were only there 1 night.
We were only there 1 night. The property is run down, not kept up. There was no ice available, no glasses in the room, the temperature handle on the sink was broke & kept coming off, the shower nozzle didn't have any spray coming out the middle of it.
Is this room @ $222.00/night the new $120.00. This is a rip off.

It’s a great location to drive back and forth to the park.
It’s a great location to drive back and forth to the park. The town is mostly hotels, souvenir shops, convenience stores and restaurants. Cute and small.—mimics an old west town. We walked everywhere. The Timberline (clean homestyle restaurant) had a great breakfast. We also had a great burger and fries at the Canyon street grill (50’s style diner), and we didn’t get a milkshake, but the people next to us did, and they looked delicious. Be prepared that all the lodging is super pricey.

Great place to visit for family that love nature and hiking.
Great place to visit for family that love nature and hiking. For sure there a lot of driving around and walking so make sure to bring snacks and lots of fluid for hydration. Best time to visit the attractions is early in the morning to avoid the crowd. And book the activities you want to experience way in advance.

Cute tourist town just outside the park entrance.
Cute tourist town just outside the park entrance. There were a lot of shops and places to eat. It was fun to drive around and see everything it had to offer. Our daughter actually played at the park while we waited to check into our hotel. We ate at the Slippery Otter and liked it. The salads there were amazing! We also got Haagen Daz ice cream which was an added bonus! I’ve never seen a Haagen Daz ice cream stand before.

I think Clubhouse Inn is the nicest place to stay if you visit Yellowstone. It is 2 minute drive from west entrance of the park and judging by exterior of other hotels Clubhouse seemed to be nicest. Breakfast was not poor like in most hotels rather a complete with toasts, cereal, pancakes, eggs, sausage, juices and more. Room was large and nice with all required amenities. In general if you visit Yellowstone then West entrance is the best base. We arrived to Boseman and drove 2 hours to West Yellowstone.
Good hotel as a base for visiting Yellowstone Park. Room was a decent size, comfortable and clean, excellent breakfast, friendly staff and near restaurants. Our only problem was the Wi-Fi which was absolutely dreadful - slow and kept dropping out!
Great location in west Yellowstone really close to the entrance to the park but also on the edge of the town so still quiet. Cute welcome note and daily weather updates
