Breakfast was good and the location was great. The fact that the rates were raised due to the "leaf peaking season" made us a little angry to have to pay double to extend our stay another day.

Room has a thermostat that is controlled by guest. Room stayed warm during the cold weather. Bathroom has a heat lamp which was really nice after a shower. Space was extremely clean.

This property had been severely damaged in a flood and it has taken a lot of effort and $ to get it up and running again. The location, in the middle of town, was terrific for walking to dinner, the Capitol building, etc. Everything was very clean, and our room was quiet and comfortable. Desk staff were pleasant. We enjoyed Montpelier very much: extremely friendly people who are working hard to restore their flood-damaged community, and are happy to welcome visitors needed to help their local economy recover. Well done, locals!

Waterbury is a great location.
Waterbury is a great location. It's a quick drive to Montpelier, Stowe, or even Burlington so you can easily make a week of it. We visited the Ben and Jerry's factor as well as the Cabot Factory Annex and both lived up to the hype. We checked out a couple local breweries and everything we tried was great.

Clean and beautifully decorated, it felt warm and welcoming, with gorgeous details throughout the home, really just an all around a wonderful experience. Plus it’s the perfect location between Stowe and Waterbury, with Cold Hollow Cider Mill and Luncheonette just a half mile away, you’ll have hands down the best breakfast around! Then Ben & Jerry’s, the Black Back pub, the Alchemist, and Stowe Cider, you can’t go wrong with this location!
Excellent hotel, wrongfully rated at 3 stars because it deserves much more. Clean, quiet, cozy and so conveniently positioned between Waterbury and Stowe, it makes for a stress-free stay. The complementary breakfast is such a great touch. Would for sure visit soon!
staff were very helpful. The hotel was immaculately clean. Beds comfortable. Breakfast had a great choice of tea/coffee/juice along with cereals, pastries, fruit as well as a hot breakfast and a waffle maker. The chef was always on hand to assist.
