The description is accurate....peaceful!
Very clean property that had plenty of room for four of us. If you're looking for something just outside of Anchorage, this is the place!

Fabulous home-made breakfast! Super relaxing (with Northern Lights viewing over the lake!), super clean— and super host! I loved shopping for home-made gifts in Carol’s “shop” as well!!

Very comfortable, large room! Doors out to the roof with a balcony was very cool! Cushiest carpet ever, please no shoes as stated. Bring your slippers, it’s Alaska! Super large tv! We were very happy with the room and also great breakfast at the restaurant downstairs. (Not free)

Its an excellent, tidy and comfortable suite. You get all amenities and I highly recommend this property . We will come back here again. The space was utilized efficiently and convenient for a family. They also provided board games to play.
Very nice accomodation. Clean and well maintained with beautiful view of Lake Lucille. Carol is a very friendly and accomodating host. Delicious breakfast provided. Would recommend this property to anyone staying in Wasila and would stay here again myself anytime.

We came for the start of the Iditarod.
We came for the start of the Iditarod. The property that we stayed at was excellent. Only there for one night, too short! Had a wonderful dinner at Meta & Rose, highly recommend going there for dinner.

What I liked the most? Well we wanted to be left alone.
What I liked the most? Well we wanted to be left alone. They did that!
What we did not like: first off the ads and website said Pet friendly, we booked the spa suite, and was told upon checking in that no dogs were allowed, corporate rule, not stated on web site.
The hot tub had only warm water the first day and night, only usable the last night. The restaurant was closed early by an hour, for any food.
all and all this was a big disappointment! Not worth the amount we had to pay, charge was over what website said!!

Room was nice, no issues with the room itself.
Room was nice, no issues with the room itself. The traffic was incredibly loud, we didn’t sleep at all. Need to request a room on the backside. Good thing was when I went down to the front desk at 530am after not sleeping and asked to change rooms right then, they accommodated us, moving us across the hall! So either bring ear plugs or request a room facing the mountains, not the hwy!

Wasilla was large enough to have shopping, but not so very large to be intimidating. Access to groceries was good. I did not eat out as the B&B offered a great breakfast. Wasilla is close to Hatchers Pass, mining, etc.

I have been here before and was safisfied. This time was not satisfied. No service, was totally ignored except for taking our money. No clean towels, no coffee, no TV, promised to come fix but didn;t. Bad weekend!

Loved this as the perfect and very comfortable start and end point to our loop road trip up the Parks to Fairbanks via Denali, and back down the Richardson and Glen. If we'd had more time there was clearly lots to do around Palmer/Wasilla itself. Immaculately clean room in an Immaculately clean, gorgeous, house, and the host couldn't have been any nicer! This is a wee gem of a place to stay in Alaska, highly recommend!
Super helpful hosts with great stories to share - they were lovely to us. A homey and cosy environment, though with spacious, comfortable rooms. The garden is beautifully kept and right next to the lake. Breakfast was magnificent - we didn't need to eat for quite some time afterwards :) thank you very much! We'll be back when we're next in Wasilla!
A sweet bed & breakfast located beside a beautiful lake in the heart of Wasilla, AK. The Innkeeper, Carol, and her daughter were especially attentive and thoughtful.
