The Waldport Inn, hotel in Waldport

The Waldport Inn is located in Waldport, 15 mi from Newport. ,Guests DO NOT have access to computers anymore , and a microwave oven in the lobby.

Staff was great and room was extremely clean. They provide “pup baskets” with an extra sheet, a fuzzy blanket, and a dog towel if checking in with a furry friend. Probably the cleanest most well taken care of room we have stayed at in a VERY long time!

Was a perfect place to stay on the way up the coast with family and friends situated between Florence/Newport. Close to good food and the facilities were so well stocked to suit anything that we could have wanted to do.

Waldport is a very small town with a few restaurants. We liked the Hilltop. Our Sanderling Cottage was great and the ocean view with amazing beach access couldn’t have been better! Waldport is centrally located between Yachats and Newport.

Waldport is great, we love it there!!!

Waldport is great, we love it there!!! Sanderling sea cottages are disgusting!!!!! We would never stay there again! We only stayed one night and could not get hold of guest services and we left. Booking.com is the only one who stepped up and gave us a refund even though it was not them that caused the issues. Filthy dishes, caked on food made us sick to look at!!!!!! Evolve.com ignored us and would not help us!! Booking.com is great!! Never stay at Sanderling sea cottages!!!! Every other place we stayed at for Waldport was great!!!!! Love the town!

Walport is a quaint, small seaside town with a small population. Local folks are kind and friendly. It is a good spot for relaxing and slow vacations. There are some cute antique and art shops. The best restaurants are at the south end of town.

Small Ocean town great for just relaxing low-key vacation.

Small Ocean town great for just relaxing low-key vacation. Not too much to do in the form of activities for the fast-paced. But if you are looking for slow down for a weekend or a week near the ocean you have found the right place. A must is walking the town of Waldport and their small shops. If you are there on a Saturday- check out the Pacific Sourdough. A small drive to checking out Seal Rock cafe and going across the street with your coffee and treats to check out the tidepools and the ocean. Drive a bit more to hit Newport and tourist-trap fun things for older kids. Nye beach for the great sunset views Depot bay for small shops/boat tours Lincoln City for outlet shopping

The bathroom window wouldn't close, ground level.

The bathroom window wouldn't close, ground level. The road noise was so loud we couldn't sleep. T V didn't work. This was a miserable place to stay. I wish I could get a REFUND. Barbara
