The staff was very very very cordial and the price, compared to others around, seems to be cheaper. I also liked the free parking and being able to have the car near the room.

The place is nice. It is very clean, close by a bunch of stores and restaurants. Breakfast is good. we had some eggs and sausages, yogurts and apples, pastries, and granola.
A lot of reviews complained about a loud freeway, so I asked straight at the reception to give us room with the other side not facing the freeway, and it was quiet.
For the money is worth it. I would stay here again if I get a chance to be in that area.

We chose this hotel as our base for visiting Sequoia Park, located about a two-hour drive away. While Tulare itself lacks attractions—offering mainly a series of shopping centers, restaurants within those centers, and hotels—it serves as a practical starting point for exploring the park.
The hotel exceeded our expectations: the rooms were spacious and impeccably clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We appreciated the ample parking, a satisfying breakfast, and a small pool that was perfect for relaxing after our hikes.

The room was just the right size, and the beds were comfortable. What I really appreciated was the breakfast, where the eggs were excellent compared to similar hotels, and the breakfat staff was friendly and helpful.
I was surprised at what a nice town Tulare was. I loved the outlet mall, and all the restaurant choices. It was very clean safe and full of beautiful homes. We went to Sequoia Natl. park which was an hours drive away. Kings Canyon was a 2 hour drive and such a pretty drive thru all the orchards and farmland nearby!

Location is excellent as there’s a restaurant right next door, gas and stores all in walking distance but hotel was very noisy, people talking, arguing and blasting music at all hours especially starting at 5am, this hotel needs a security guard! AC unit is way too close to the beds, no refrigerator in 85 degree weather, not enough room in the shower or storage for clothes or shoes.

I picked Tulare as it was four hours away, the time I wanted to drive. The town is in the middle of agricultural land, crops, manure and cattle.
There was nothing attractive about the town. There is the busy highway and fast food restaurants.
Next drive? I will not stop at Tulare. And sorry to all the people who made their homes there. I do not wish to be rude to you.

Nice town with lots of facilities, a large Walmart did not have a bakery.
Plenty of fuel stations and very nice outlet centre.
The only drawback was the train noise, although nothing could be done about it, did not know that all trains have to blow horn when passing through any crossing a safety measure so it goes on through the night, so unless your used to it wakes you up very time.
Some nice eating places Annies just a short walk away was very good and large helpings, nice staff

Don’t think what it said on reviews and wasn’t pleasant cause I went to my room at 6 and had cops knocking at the door for noise complaints which wasn’t the room I stayed in so after that really wanted to leave but already paid for the room and didn’t want to lose out on my money. Think I’ll try another nearby motel next time

This property was so nice and clean!!! The staff was also very friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast was very good. You could make waffles and there were scrambled eggs and sausage among other options. Coffee, hot water for tea and lemon water were available at all times.
Hillstone Inn Tulare offers a convenient location and friendly, helpful personnel. The breakfast selection is good and varied, ensuring a satisfying start to the day. Overall, it's a great choice for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Tulare.
The appearance was good until I realized I had to do my own cleaning. The floor was super dirty, behind the beds were filthy abs the roaches waited for me to go to sleep to start creeping. I have photos and a video of my experience in Tulare.
The room was just the right size, and the beds were comfortable. What I really appreciated was the breakfast, where the eggs were excellent compared to similar hotels, and the breakfat staff was friendly and helpful.
